Nathanael Lessore talks to pupils
We were delighted to welcome Nathanael Lessore into school to talk to pupils in Year 7 and 8. Nathanael is a multi-award-winning and Sunday Times bestselling author. His recent books ‘King of Nothing’ addressed issues such as toxic masculinity and peer pressure and ‘What Happens Online’ is a story about the joys and challenges of dreaming big and showing the world you don't have to fit into just one box. His new book ‘Like a Brother’ is a teen comedy about a summer turned upside down.
Not only did Nathanael discuss his books, he also talked to the pupils more widely about writing and how to write a story as well as how having good writing skills can help you get a better career in the future too! Nathanael was keen to champion librarians and book sellers, which was even more important as the visit had been arranged in conjunction with our own fabulous local independent bookshop in Wallingford.
