Building a ‘Sport for All’ Mentality

We are delighted to announce that we have been named winners in the ‘Inventive Sports Programme’ category in the 2023 Muddy Stilettos Schools Awards for our focus on ‘sport for all’, a philosophy designed to inspire and encourage a love of sport across all ages and abilities. The aim is to empower boys and help them to develop new skills and view sport with a positive attitude.

Hero Brown, Editor of Muddy Stilettos, said, “The ethos of our Best School Awards and our school reviews is all about celebrating and supporting the best in modern and progressive education. The response to our Awards has been incredible, with over 400 entries from across the country. The judges were incredibly impressed by all submissions but yours stood out! Thank you again for being such a fantastic example of what makes a great school the very best!”

The judges for the awards included Patrick Derham OBE, ex Headmaster at Westminster School, Mark Semmence, Headmaster at Repton, Tove Okunniwa MBE, CEO of London Sport and Toby Garbett an Olympic and World Champion gold medal rower.

James Springer, our Director of Sport, said, “The teaching of Sport at Moulsford is very much a team effort and so I am delighted that the entire sports staff have been recognised in this way.”

Many congratulations to Mr Springer and the sports staff for developing and running such an excellent sporting programme at Moulsford.
