Raising money for House charities

On Sunday 18th June, twenty four pairs from Years 5-8 competed in this year's family tennis tournament (MFTT) and raised money for the House charities; SSNAP, Marine Conservation Society, Emmaus Oxford and Sport in Mind.

The players were organised into two tournament  groups within two age groups (Years 5/6 and Years 7/8).  Each pair played the others in their pool, with the top two progressing into the semis with the winners then fighting it out in the finals.  Some 50 matches were played and displayed excellent Moulsford talent, positive competition and good humour.

Special thanks must go to Josslin Bonney for raising money through a golf putting competition and Mrs Scriven, Mrs Hamilton-Smith, Mr Neighbour and Mr Jones for playing many matches with those boys without partners.

Thank you also to the several other staff helpers who very kindly gave up their Sunday.

The eventual winners were:

Years 5 & 6 tournament - Ben and Ash Cudlipp

Years 7 & 8 tournament - Thomas Parkinson and Ben Jones

Congratulations to them all.
