Teddies Tens Tournament
Our Under 10 cricketers had the pleasure of participating in the Teddies 10's tournament this year. They enjoyed a fantastic day with plenty of runs, numerous wickets, and lots of fun. Their first game was against Swanbourne Prep, where the boys set a monumental total of 155. They bowled Swanbourne out and won with a few overs to spare.
Next, we faced Summer Fields, a team they had already defeated this season. It was a thrilling match with both sides excelling with the bat, but Moulsford triumphed, thanks to Harry RC’s match-winning 52* not out.
With two wins from two and a total of 38 out of 40 points, they were placed in the first v second final against The Dragon, another team they had beaten this season. Moulsford set a solid total of 123 and defended it brilliantly with excellent bowling and tight fielding, leading to victory.
Moulsford emerged as the champions of the Teddies 10's tournament for the first time. Harry RC was awarded Player of the Tournament, and the entire team collected the trophy together, capping off a day filled with teamwork, effort, enjoyment, and camaraderie.
