Conker Counting

Thank you to all of the children who joined in with our Conker Counting competition this week! We saw so many interesting and clever ways of counting the conkers, and it was fantastic to see the children using their Maths and creative skills to come up with some really clever guesses!
The total number of conkers collected this half term was 3720! A huge congratulations to Aria P, who guessed 4053 conkers, and to Sam T, our runner-up with a close guess of 2016 conkers.

During assembly this morning, we celebrated how hard everyone has worked over the past six weeks in their new year groups. We have achieved so much, which is evident in the children’s books, and it’s also clear in the growing confidence and independence they demonstrate each morning as they arrive at school. It was wonderful to share all of this lovely work with parents during Parents' Evening last night, and it was particularly nice to see so many parents come in to celebrate the children’s hard work. Their dedication and progress have been so impressive, and it’s heartening to see the positive impact of all the learning and development over the past few weeks.

A very well done to William H, who was awarded the Pride of Moulsford this week! It’s always such a special highlight of our weekly assembly when we step beyond our curriculum learning and focus on the best parts of being in the Pre-Prep. William’s efforts and attitude truly embody the spirit of Moulsford, and we’re so proud of his achievements.
