Chairs of the World
It was another innovative Assembly from Mr Johnston and this year’s 7J as they tackled the unusual topic of ‘Chairs of the World’. Each pupil selected their own favourite chair and then told the audience about the history of the seat and why each chair held a special place in their heart! The pupils were able to inject their own personality into their choice and it was certainly an eclectic mix! There were presentations about bean bags, car seats, historical thrones, designer chairs, the broken chair and even a toilet. The class managed to inform the audience whilst also making them laugh. It was certainly quirky and a treat for their parents and the rest of the school to watch! Well done 7J
