Winners of the County Cup
Last Friday saw a fantastic triumph for Moulsford’s Colts A cricket team as they emerged victorious in the County Cup, competing against four strong school sides. With determination, skill, and outstanding teamwork, the boys won their local tournament and secured a well-deserved place in the regional finals.
Each player made valuable contributions, with both bat and ball, showcasing not only talent but tremendous character under pressure. From sharp fielding displays to composed batting partnerships and disciplined bowling spells, the team maintained focus and spirit throughout the day.
Particular praise must go to the leadership and resilience shown in tight moments, as well as the sportsmanship that defined every match. Mr Sparrow was extremely upbeat about the boys who were simply awesome, representing Moulsford with pride and passion.
A huge well done to the entire squad – a true team effort and an exciting step forward as we head to regionals!
